Photographer, tutor and author. I work mainly in Milan, where I settled after living around Italy and Europe. I speak German, English and a little French.

I fell in love with photography when I was a young boy, unconsciously and a bit wildly. I took pictures of my surroundings to help me relive and recount the moments that I felt were important in an immediate and unedited way, hoping that they would be of interest to other people as well. I felt the opportunity to make culture, exhibitions, to share experiences. I also vaguely sensed the magical ability of photography to tell the story of who we are, capturing moments and making them eternal and legendary.

I believe that each one of us sometimes feels a strange yearning when we think about how much the fast passing of time can change us. If you’re reading this, I know you believe in the power and the magical ability of photography to help us discover what we still don’t know about ourselves and tell it in a timeless story.

What you need to make your wish come true is to have a genuine author at your side, someone who will devote love, passion and talent to make your transitional moment eternal in its beauty.

I would be happy to share with you my valuable experience, gained working for international media and with iconic names from the show business world. I can confirm that for a photographer used to solving problems very different from the shyness of his subjects or the fear of not being photogenic, your anxiety can be a real challenge. In fact, I have asked myself many times if I was really able to achieve the same powerful results from someone who is a stranger to show business as I do from popular actors or singers.

The enthusiastic feedback from those before you, though, is the most distinct response I could ever imagine. Yes, I can. I’ve learned to fine tune accurately and precisely to your needs and fears, to the dizzying sensation you may feel on a set that draws you in, but also feels unfamiliar because it isn’t part of your everyday life.

I know without a doubt that I can help you express your best self even if you don’t spend your life on stages or movie sets. Also, we can create extraordinary and unimaginable portraits together.

Now, a bit about myself: I’ve always combined my career as an author with that of an educator and have taught a whole range of people so far. I have also held workshops abroad, in German and English. This helps me to remain curious and to always challenge myself without taking anything for granted. I also love the debate that can arise with my students, and this helps me to grow without getting too old.

As an author I actively collaborate with Italian and international publications in the production of celebrity portraits and editorials.

I have published two photographic books: Circus Life, Everynight, all Around the World, Stemmle Verlag – Zurich and A poet in Action, Damiani Editore – Bologna.

I have hosted many institutional exhibitions in galleries and museums in Italy and abroad such as the Milan Triennale, the MIA – Image Art Fair, the Archiginnasio in Bologna and the Atelier Renault Champs Élysées in Paris.

We had a lovely day, which was both professionally rewarding and fun.

I was delighted to work with Gianluigi, whom I chose for his friendship and professionalism. Gianluigi was able to create the atmosphere I wanted, with a clever use of light and choosing a special location. Being a photographer’s daughter, I find it hard to stand in front of a camera… Gianluigi succeeded in making me feel completely at ease, so that I could freely express what is apparently invisible in my work. I’m a yoga teacher and I work with sound therapy, so it’s not easy to break out of the usual patterns of yoga posture, commonly trivialized through photos, but thanks to the vibe that was created, I believe we really hit our mark!

Overcome shyness and act naturally as a “model”. All this without embarrassment and struggle. This is how I felt. This is what Gianluigi is capable of – he managed to make me feel immediately like I was in a familiar setting and was able to capture my true self while adding the splendor resulting from painstaking preparation for each shot. His technical skills and his sensitivity brought to a surprising result, he was able to bring out a side of me that I didn’t even know I had and that is not always possible to show everyday, but knowing that I can be like this and see myself in the pictures makes me very happy.
